News

New version of ilmoitin.fi to be launched 7 June 2016

  

There will be a downtime 7 June 2016 approximately between 17.00 and 19.00 hours during which neither the ilmoitin.fi website nor its user interfaces will be available.

New features in the updated version:

  • Filing and check of applications for refund on the Excise Tax on Energy Products for 2016 (VSYEVP16).
  • Filing of annual information returns by logging into the Katso system on the behalf of a company or a person without needing Katso authorisation. It is enough that the Katso ID has the privileges of Master User, Parallel Master User, Annual Information Report Filer, or Account Operator associated with any Business ID.
  • Filing of direct data transfer concerning non-resident recipients of pension benefits (RVKSSELE) with a Katso ID that has been authorised for filing annual information returns associated with the Business ID of the party requesting direct data transfer.
  • As for the annual information returns VSKTVYSL, VSTVERIE, VSOSERIE, VSRAERIE, VSOKERIE, VSPSVYHT, VSTVVYHT, VSPAOPAL and the periodic tax return VSRMUUKV with the code 080 or a similar position, only Business IDs of registered Account Operators can be filed.
  • Data flow checks of Itemization of sales and purchases (VSAPUUSE) for 2016 are performed according to the latest Data File Specification.
  • For the 2016 annual information returns VSRAERIE, VSPSERIE, VSPSERIK, VSPSKUST and VSPSVYHT the name of the software application that produced the file is a mandatory data element (link to news item).


Information to software developers regarding this version update

TaMo

  • The 2016 format and the corresponding data file specifications are added to the data flow of the application for refund on the Excise Tax on Energy Products (VSYEVP16) (Updated data file specifications available at tax.fi)
  • For the annual information returns VSKTVYSL, VSTVERIE, VSOSERIE, VSRAERIE, VSOKERIE, VSPSVYHT, VSTVVYHT, VSPAOPAL and the periodic tax return VSRMUUKV with the code 080 or a similar position, check that the Business ID belongs to a genuine corporate Account Operator.
  • The data flow checks of Itemization of sales and purchases (VSAPUUSE) for 2016 are corrected
  • For the 2016 annual information returns VSRAERIE, VSPSERIE, VSPSERIK, VSPSKUST and VSPSVYHT, add the name of the software application that produced the file as a mandatory data element (014).
